Volunteer with MCF
MCF has a small staff and dedicated Board of Trustees. To help us further our mission and increase our impact in the community, we are looking for volunteers. Opportunities are currently case-by-case, as we look to build a more structured volunteer program, and may include the following:
- Work days in preserved spaces like community parks and MCF’s Scudder Preserve (yard work, plantings, clean-ups, maintenance projects)
- MCF signature fundraising events (link to fundraising events page) set up, staffing, and breakdown
- Assisting with our community and educational outreach programs (helping at environmental festivals and other events)
- Administrative (stuffing letters/invitations, helping with mailings, hand addressing envelopes, organizing)
- Special skills – We welcome you to suggest any skill or expertise and a desire to help our cause! (op ed writing, social media, legal, financial, legal, etc.)
